2024 Camp Update

January 7, 2024: CMIBC’s 39th annual basketball camp will be held from June 24 - June 27, 2024 at Clinton High School in Clinton, Massachusetts. Check back for updates.

Purpose of Our Camp

Each summer, Central Mass Invitational Basketball offers a unique experience for a select group of high school basketball players. These players spend a week with college coaches in a learning environment that puts an intense focus on improving player skills, conditioning, and knowledge of the game. This includes a daily workout regimen geared for high school basketball players, lectures by leading college coaches, and several different teaching stations run by our entire team.

ACCEPTANCE TO OUR CAMP IS NOT AUTOMATIC. To find a good group of qualified participants each year, CMIBC solicits recommendations directly from high school coaches and athletic directors, evaluates each prospect carefully, and invites only those we think will excel in every respect. To succeed in our camp players must have outstanding work ethics, embrace tough competition, and arrive in great physical shape, ready for a rigorous week focused on playing and learning basketball.

Every year, a number of college basketball programs send their scouts to visit the CMIBC tournament. Our goal is to develop and show them the best players we can find. With three games played every day at camp, there are plenty of opportunities to demonstrate good teamwork, great shooting and ball handling skills, intelligent decision making, and a mature approach to the game. That’s what college teams want and that’s what we expect from everyone who shows up.
